ANTOA Events (“ANTOA”, “we”, “us”) creates, hosts and collaborates on events celebrating Africa, its culture and its people. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

Booking data: name, email, phone number, guest names, ticket tier, payment plan status and booking reference.

Account data: email address and encrypted authentication credentials if you create an account.

Marketing data: your email address and source if you subscribe to our list.

Technical data: device, browser and page interaction data collected through essential and optional cookies.

To fulfil your booking, issue tickets and manage check-in at the door.

To administer installment payment plans and process refunds under our Refund Policy.

To send you transactional messages about your booking, and marketing only where you have opted in.

To keep the platform secure, prevent fraud and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Performance of a contract for bookings and ticketing; consent for marketing and optional analytics cookies; legitimate interests for platform security and service improvement; and legal obligation for tax and accounting records.

We share data only with the processors needed to run ANTOA: our hosting and database provider, payment processor, and email delivery provider. We never sell your personal data. Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on standard contractual clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

Booking and payment records are retained for seven years to satisfy accounting requirements. Marketing subscriptions are retained until you unsubscribe. Account data is deleted within 30 days of an account deletion request.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent for marketing at any time. Requests are answered within 30 days.

Data is stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure with row-level security, encrypted in transit and at rest. Ticket codes are unique per attendee and validated at check-in.
